Born on the South Side of Chicago, Mr. Red moved to Minnesota in 1992 with no plans of becoming a barber. But after a career shift and enrolling at the Minnesota School of Barbering, he found his calling. Now with over 30 years of experience, Mr. Red has run Gentlemen Cuts on St. Paul’s East Side for the past eight years, using his skills to serve and uplift his community.

From offering free haircuts to those in need to mentoring the next generation of barbers, Terrell is committed to making a difference. He holds an instructor’s license and currently serves as Director of Member Engagement and Programs for the Black Business Network of St. Paul.
